Digital Sovereignty

Your Data Is Only Sovereign If You Control Where It Lives

Your Data Is Only Sovereign If You Control Where It Lives

OWN THE STACK
Digital Sovereignty
Companies can run critical operations on stacks they don't control - locked into vendors, with data scattered across jurisdictions. We help you understand what you own, what you don't, and how to fix it.
Open source & sovereign infrastructure advisory.
Data residency & jurisdiction planning.
Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) - for organisations that want to lead, not catch up.
Who this is for
Companies who want real control over their data and infrastructure - not just ticking a GDPR of EU AI Act boxes but actually owning their stack.
What you walk away with
You know what you own. You know what you don't.
Every organisation is different - we tailor the approach to yours.
WHY IT MATTERS NOW
Cloud Convenience Has a Sovereignty Price Tag
01
Convenient until it isn't - who controls your infrastructure when things go wrong?
If the company holding your systems gets a tap on the shoulder from a foreign government, your data goes with it. Doesn't matter where the server is. Matters who owns the company running it.
02
Open source doesn't belong to anyone.
Proprietary software comes with a vendor, a roadmap, and a licence that can change. Open source code can be inspected, modified, and run independently - no permission required. If the vendor disappears, changes direction, or gets acquired, you're not stranded. The code stays with you.
03
Build it so that even if someone breaks in, they find nothing useful.
Privacy enhancing technologies (PET’s) keep data locked even while it's being processed. No readable data, no usable data. Whoever gets in - legally or otherwise - leaves empty-handed. That's not a compliance feature. That's a business continuity feature.
04
The contract is where sovereignty can die.
You can have the best architecture, the right certifications, the right locations. One emergency clause in the MSA and the provider can do whatever they want with your data. Read and fix the contract, everything else is decoration.

TRAIN THE PEOPLE

Digital Sovereignty

Digital sovereignty means you stay in control of your own systems - regardless of what happens to the provider, the contract, or the political situation. It covers three things: where your infrastructure sits and who owns it, what software runs on it and whether you can switch, and whether your data stays yours even when someone else is processing it. All three need to hold - fixing one while ignoring the others is not sovereignty, it is a partial solution with an incomplete story.
